You are welcome at Cultivated Thinking. Please respect the student-teacher relationship and follow any requests from your teacher   •    We’ve carefully selected our venue partnerships to offer you the most nurturing environments for your practice and to compliment your wellness experience. We ask that you please be respectful of the surroundings as you navigate in and around the selected venue(s) and follow any requests made by venue employees   •   An individual’s health and wellness practice are private and intimate matters. At Cultivated Thinking we pride ourselves on holding a sacred space that is safe and supportive for everyone to return to breath, body and mind. Please stay on your mat and refrain from assisting others if you are not invited to do so. Please also practice with care and consideration towards yourself and others   •   At Cultivated Thinking, we practice patience and ask that you do not attempt new asanas unless agreed upon and supported by your teacher   •   Respect your own limits. Accept that your body and mind will feel and respond differently on different days. Listen to your body and don’t push beyond your edge. Following along and practice in your own time. Please note that yoga practices can be highly emotive we invite you to allow and observe any emotional experiences that come up for you. If this is difficult or you are struggling, you are welcome and encouraged to speak with your teacher about this. You may also chose to reach out to a number of 24/7 mental health support services accessible   •   Allow time for your session, service and event. If you do have special needs please speak with Cultivated Thinking before the service / session / event so that we can decide on suitable accommodations for you   •   This is a time for peace and self-awareness. Please remove any obvious disruptions / distractions. Turn your mobile phone off, keep your voice low and practice awareness of those around you   •   If you are attending services at one of our third-party venues, you will find a designated space to leave your shoes and personal belongings. This will ensure the designated ‘practice’ space remains clutter free and conducive to a positive and safe yoga and wellness experience   •   Where Cultivated Thinking are attending your home environment, please be sure to complete a safety screening check with your teacher upon booking and ensure that you can commit to the directions agreed with you at the scheduled time of service. The welfare and comfort of our team is of equal importance to the preservation of your rights and safety   •   If you are unwell or feeling under the weather, we do recommend that you speak with us and refrain from attending any services / sessions / events. If you are registered for a session and decide that it is best to cancel due to personal illness, please contact Cultivated Thinking to discuss when it may be appropriate for you to resume services   •   If you are unable to honour your booking, please contact Cultivated Thinking to cancel or reschedule your arrangements as early as possible and at least 24 hours before the scheduled booking   •    It is recommended that you stay well hydrated when practicing yoga, please bring a water bottle with you to your session. Also, most students find it uncomfortable practicing on a full stomach, so we recommend that you refrain from eating large meals at least 1-2 hours before your session   •   It is important to wear appropriate comfortable clothing that allows you freedom of movement during your practice. Please ensure that you have attended to your personal hygiene and that you and your clothing are clean and suitably presented, cleanliness is an integral part of practicing yoga.
